Mothers Club![]() Titans Mothers ClubThe NJ Jr. Titan’s Organization is proud to announce the debut of it’s first ever “Titan’s Mom’s Club”!
The idea came about last year when George observed a few of us Bantam Minor AAA Moms trying to find a way to keep busy the hour before the games. We had so much fun but felt a little guilty because we did not always include our children or the Dads. Our pregame get togethers sometimes extended to post game barbecues, pizza parties, or sandwiches in the parking lot allowing the players to unwind and bond after a game. Many times their competitive nature enticed them to start their own football or soccer games and we always had a hard time getting them to go home.
We Moms have all accepted the fact that hockey runs our life, for the better part of the year, so why not make it fun for us as well? The “Titan’s Mom’s Club” will concentrate on promoting team spirit and coordinating events for teams and their families. We are actively searching for new fundraising ideas for the organization which will benefit all of our children and help ease the burden of the high cost associated with the sport of playing hockey.
We wish to share the great feeling of camaraderie our team experienced last year and it is our hope to have the entire Titan Organization come together as one “Extended Hockey Family”.
This season you can usually find us “tailgating” before the U16 National or American games where our best brainstorming and fundraising ideas will be developed. We welcome all Moms, and on occasion maybe even some Dads, and are looking forward to an exciting inaugural season in our new rink at Howell IceWorld along with the memorable times that are ahead for all of us. More details on how you can get involved will follow.
Lastly, we wish everyone a great 2011-12 season and will see you all at “home” in Howell IceWorld!
Sincerely,
